General

How can I book a room?

You can book your room easily and at the best rate directly via this link to our reservation system.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you have opted for a standard rate or ‘pay at check-in’ you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the day of arrival.
If you have opted for the cheaper ‘Non Refundable’ rate. In case of cancellation, at least the first night will be charged and a refund is not possible.

Untill what time can I enter the room?

We kindly ask you to check in between 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM. At check-in you will receive an electronic key card which gives you 24-hour access to the hotel and your room.

How does check-out work?

We ask you to leave the room before 11:00 am. You can check out easily and quickly. You simply throw the key card in the letterbox at the front door. And voilĂ  you can enjoy your day.

Why do prices differ per day?
The prices of our rooms may vary per day, as they depend on a number of factors.
You always get the best rates and more flexible conditions directly via our website. Rooms booked through third parties – such as booking.com or expedia – can be more expensive and have their own conditions.

Your room

Is my room cleaned daily?

Yes, your room is cleaned daily and provided with fresh towels.
If you have hung the ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door handle of your room, we will not enter your room and cleaning will not take place. An extra set of towels is left at the door.

Does the room have air conditioning?
All our rooms have their own air conditioning. There is a remote control in your room for this purpose. So you can regulate the temperature of the room yourself.
Do I have my own bathroom/toilet?
All rooms have their own toilet and bathroom with shower. The superior room has a bathtub.
Are pets allowed in the room?
No, we do not allow pets in the room as standard. Contact us for the possibilities.
Is there an outdoor area?
You can use the shared patio courtyard on the ground floor.

Practical questions

Can I store my bicycle?
There is plenty of room in our courtyard to safely store your bicycle. The courtyard is closed at night and only accessible to guests with a valid key card.
How can I pay?
In addition to cash (euros), we accept Maestro, Visa, V-Pay and Master cards.
With us it is not possible to withdraw cash, there is an ATM within walking distance.
Can I eat at the Hoefpoort?
We do not have a restaurant, but there are a wide variety of catering establishments within walking distance where you will be warmly welcomed for lunch and dinner.
Does the Hoefpoort have meeting rooms?

Our hotel does not have meeting rooms. For this we would like to refer you to the catering establishments in the center of Gemert or to www.helder.nu

Can I rent a bicycle from de Hoefpoort?

We do not have rental bicycles ourselves. Berkvens Fietsservice is about 250 meters away from us. They rent bicycles based on availability.

Is there a possibility to prepare food?
It is not permitted to prepare (hot) food in your room.
Downstairs in the hallway are plates, cutlery and a microwave, which can be used to heat up food you bring along.
